SEPA Deposit Webhook

Webhook
POST
SEPA_DEPOSIT_UPDATE
This webhook event is emitted when an incoming SEPA bank deposit is detected, processed, or credited to the partner EUR balance.
Since incoming bank transfers are initiated externally by the sender, deposits rely exclusively on their externalId as the primary lookup key. Use this event to automate balance updating, notification triggers, and financial accounting in real time.

Event Payload Structure#

The payload is delivered inside the data object and contains full metadata regarding the incoming SEPA deposit:
externalId: Unique reference identifier for the SEPA deposit (UUID).
status: Current processing state of the deposit (e.g., started, pending, successful).
amount: Gross fiat amount deposited (as a decimal string).
currency: Fiat currency code (EUR).
fee: Deposit provision/fee deducted during processing (as a decimal string).
createdAt: ISO 8601 UTC timestamp of when the deposit record was created.

Status Lifecycle#

started: Incoming SEPA transfer detected in the banking system.
pending: Deposit is undergoing internal processing or clearing.
waiting-for-verification: Deposit is held pending compliance or risk review.
successful: Funds successfully cleared and credited to the partner balance.
unsuccessful / banned / rejected-by-reviewer: Deposit failed, bounced, or was rejected due to compliance policy constraints.

Recommended Integration Behavior#

Balance Crediting: Only credit internal balances or trigger user notifications when the status reaches successful.
Idempotency: Index incoming events by externalId to safely handle potential duplicate webhook deliveries.
Reconciliation: Store the fee and amount fields for precise accounting and margin calculations.
Single Identifier Model
Like crypto deposits, incoming SEPA transfers rely solely on externalId as their unique identifier across webhooks and the Get SEPA Deposit Details endpoint.
